Because analysts are expected to understand the markets and make sense when they talk about them. At least in the interview stage :-)

And, no, attributing USD slide from EUR/USD=1.06 onwards to outside forces deliberately trying to undermine America, or genuinely believing that all sell-side analysts are liars with an agenda does not count as "making sense".
