Pressure on gold producers continues

Currently, he explained, most big gold producers are running at a loss. Some 65% of Harmony Gold’s operations are coming in at a loss, while a third of Gold Fields’ operations also seem to be making a loss. However, the latter’s international businesses could offset local losses.
