Believe me I sympathize with your impatience but a couple of points.

1) this is an anti-viral. If Lidak sidestepped the FDA and went direct to the people they would be running a big risk of having the FDA force them to take it off the market. You can't just ignore the FDA as much as we might like to. You also can't afford to have them angry at you.

2) the advertising campaign is a great idea and hits the right media for this drug. But given point 1 you can't advertise until you have gotten approval. As much as the company has had false steps I don't think we can fault them for not running commercials on MTV yet. Also given the licenses it will be Bristol Meyers responsibility to advertise in the US.
