The information is reliable. Thing is that all the reporters/analysts/bloggers have a POV and spin it to highlight and focus what they want to focus on. It's complicated and detailed and few people want to slog thru the whole report so it's easy to "summarize" those points one believes to be important. And what's important is informed by one's political views. To take Marshall as an example, if he were interested in the whole story, come what may (even if it put the Bush administration in a better light) would he now just be focusing on a legalism? Hell no.
