Today the market traded sideways with a decreased spread on sustained volume, ending the day in a neutral condition. The failure of the market to follow up on yesterdays positive action suggests that a rally and test of the current lows isn't as likely as a brief rally and test of the lows of the year. Unless demand comes back into the market providing for larger spreads to the upside on increased volume in the near future then positioning for future short positions is likely to be the better strategy for the next move.
