I was just going over Jock's writings to entertain myself, and I came upon this post. You couldn't have been more right. It just goes to show how much fashion plays a role in the market, actually any market.

And I have learned that in Real Estate. Jock was very much into investing in a beaten down area in Chicago called Uptown. Now, every young hot young lady with long legs wants to be in Uptown.
