Yes, absolutely the feds should intervene. States can't pass laws that directly contradict the Constitution of the United States. Reimposing slavery is unconstitutional. There's nothing in the Constitution regarding medical marijuana, and it's an issue like what age to issue drivers licenses that should be left to the states to decide.
