Bush's tax cuts are part campaign trick.

If you mean taht Bush has political reasons to support tax cuts I agree. If you mean more then that I probably do not.

Any smart Bushies knows Bush's tax cuts are reckless and unsustainable unless you slash defense spending.

That simply isn't true. You could cut not defense spending (which is most of the budget), or even just restrain the growth of spending (defense, non-defense, or both). The fact that Bush didn't try to do this shows he isn't much a fiscal conservative but it doesn't say anything about tax cuts in general or Bush's in particular.

In the meantime, the US bleeds red ink and the rich get off easy but create no new jobs.

In general they don't get off easy, and in general they do more to create jobs then any other group.
