Why not? It seems pretty "unpatriotic" to just put it on the national mastercard when you COULD raise taxes and pay for it. After all, Bush had assured us it would be a cakewalk. The Iraqis would cast flowers in our path and dance in the streets... Besides, I get the feeling YOU, being a real patriot, would be willing to pay for the war, instead of shifting the cost onto your kids..
