Re: CNBC-TV has become almost laughably predictable. During 100+ point declines, footage of unnerved long term baby boomer investors is unreeled and shown between interviews with manic wire house salesmen chanting the "buy on the dips" mantra.

And one of the newscasters, Susie Gharib, is particularly horrible. She starts the "morning session" which she turns into a "mourning session" if the Dow happens to be going down. When she comes to stocks that are having a run, she begins talking excitedly (of course, her talk will be tinged with regret if she doesn't happen to own the stock!). Pretty pathetic indeed for a TV station that claims to be the "First in Business" and monitors the largest economy in the world.
