I think India is doing very well with AIDS. I heard a remarkable story on the radio, about an Indian scientist who combined three AIDS drugs into one pill, was sued by the inventor of one of the drugs and won, and is now in Africa, teaching them how to do this in their own factory. I believe the Indian company she worked for was CIPLA. They seem less concerned with profiting from the medicines than saving peoples lives.
