Ted, I've been around a lot of the places you mentioned, and it's not nearly as bad as you make it out to be.

You're full of it. If you'd have been to Watts, San Fernando, Pacoima, South central or Bell Gardens......you would have wet your pants. Don't con me. They are a mess!

If you really want a basis of comparison, try New York City.

Yes, compared to NYC, LA looks better but that does not mean its infrastructure is any better off. It's newer.....that's all that can be said for LA. In the meantime, the state's tax structure is so fukked up, its robbing peter to pay paul........or did you think Arnold was working things out. In fact, he's having a hell of a time and is not doing much better than his predecessor.

But I'm not surprised you wanted out of SoCal. Seems like the Pacific NW is much better for you.
