H-P Gets $485 Million in Contracts

Hewlett-Packard Co. said it signed outsourcing contracts with MCI Inc., TD Bank Financial Group and Standard Register Corp. in deals totaling about $485 million. H-P's five-year, $112 million outsourcing agreement with MCI includes technical support and remote server management for employees at more than 600 U.S. MCI locations. Separately, MCI received a five-year, $125 million contract from H-P to deliver communications services. H-P also reached a deal to upgrade and manage TD Bank Financial's ATM network and point-of-sale transaction business in a seven-year contract valued at $320 million. In a third agreement, H-P will measure the agility and productivity of Standard Register's infrastructure in a five-year, $53 million contract with the document-management firm.
