Gender selection for offspring is now technically feasible without the invasive and violent practice of abortions. Historically and in modern times (China and India) where gender selection has been practiced, the parents have tended to select male babies for the first born.

In modern times couples are less likely than ever to stick together long enough to produce a second child. Historically whole male populations have been wiped out via hand to hand combat in national wars. There is nothing like that currently.

So, for the first time ever we can forsee a testosterone rich world population of men with a significant percentage never expecting to have relationships with women. In addition we have been systematically eliminating the male role model in the upbringing of boys. These boys have tended to behave at unnacceptably high levels of violence and getting worse with each generation.

Be careful what you ask for.
