"The Republicans are really sweating Kerry's war record."

But is it the Republicans or John Kerry's former Navy comrades in arms whose views of John's exploits differ somewhat from John's vision. Perhaps you should look carefully at their eyewitness accounts as reported on the following website:

www.swiftvets.com

My post #54286 contains only a small part of their entire testimony. Their website is far more complete.

I think you will find that the great majority of those Naval officers and enlisted personnel who served with John Kerry during his limited tour of Vietnam have a distinctly different view of his "heroics".

And they are as entitled to be heard as is John Kerry and the Democrats when they seek to distribute their version of John Kerry's fight for freedom.

Unfortunately, the Press gives far greater coverage to John Kerry's version than it does those eyewitnesses who served with him. Some of them were his commanding officers. Some of them were enlisted men. All are identified by name and rank. And all tell a story far different from the official Democratic line.

And I doubt that they are all Republicans.
