FTEL/DCIC NEWS, don't sell yourself short.

All to often, "sell on news is the battlecry"; I wouldn't sell myself short on the forthcoming news by taking this approach. Here's why:

Internet Telephony has been the buzzword in all trade journals, financial digests, and mainstream press. Recently INTEL announced entry into this market, Camelot, Vocaltec, and a slew of others. The media has clamored to their doorsteps. Entire periodicals have devoted the cover page and feature articles to this niche. Yesterday the markets were abuzz with the new communications bill in Congress, affording anybody the opportunity to become a local phone company.

Folks, telecommunications and any related stories are all that you are going to see in the forthcoming days. With FTEL possibly getting into bed with one of the giants of telecommications industry, it only makes sense that this will start a stampede of controversy that the press will focus on.

In the financial markets, timing is everything.

Our time has come. Don't cut it short by flipping, I'd give the news at least three days to be digested before considering taking some profits off the table. Once the press realizes the ramifications of this technology and just how sincere a giant in the industry is about this new way of making a long distance call, I think you will see a plethora of articles, and FTEL should be at the center of attention.
