I think they should have done another phase 2. Almost all phase 3 trials where the trial protocol is much different than any of the phase 2 trials seem to fail.

I agree that it no longer matters.

I agree the timing was no accident. I could come up with a conspiracy theory but perhaps she just put the final push on to bring the results out before the meeting. Had they been good, perhaps she would have been vindicated in the eyes of many. Now, it hardly matters. I can't imagine why anyone would want to take over the company now.

This is just like Air Canada. The shares keep trading even though they are essentially worthless. In both cases, the company will only go on after a massive dilution.
