This Site it the one in which I feel the safest from attacks and where posting is relevant to having a respectful response without denigration or name calling.

Yes, the posts here seem to be waning. There are many posters who were rather radical, Sylvestor, who do not post here any longer. There were others whose posts were my daily newspaper...

I have great respect for all of you who continue to post here as the entire SI thread seems to be geared to put down as a Liberal anyone who disagrees with them and the word to me has become synonymous with the DEVIL. If you dare to disagree by posting information that you have copied and pasted from a site you still get attacked.

There comes a point where the nit picking and name calling become so discouraging that I have understood where someone like Lurger has left. Others have too. I think this particular site of Scott's is one we should all try to keep alive... Things are becoming ominous when people who wear T shirts against the reigning President are taken away in hand cuffs. Where a company drops a comedian who speaks against the president... even though jokes were made against the opponent too. Are we becoming a society that is afraid to speak, write to take opposition to some of the opinions held by others.

Is there a definitive RIGHT AND WRONG ? Are we who are against some of the things the sitting President has promulgated to be shut up.?

I would appreciate some of your thinking.
