IMO, every company in the S&P 500 save for perhaps 5 or 6 manage their business way, way too much to please Wall Street.

I've decided that the public companies in technology that have had to please the street the past few years have outperformed the private firms because they had to. Without WS barking at their backs, the private firms just whithered away.
