Some food for thought concerning institutional holdings..........
As many know the number one holder of stock is Goldman sacks..but they havent updated since the quarter ending 12/96..why ?..i dont know..though they may have been sellers this last week..the NEW number 2 holder is morgan stanley and company with 9.95 million shares..9.618 million aded this last filing period.now things get interesting with the the number 4 holder ..ryback mgmt corp..they hold 8.05 million as of the 3/97 period..but thats not all..according to a list of top mutual fund holdings they have lindner growth funds and lindner dividend funds as holder of roughly 4 million shares..why am i telling u this?..because ryback contols lindner funds..go to their web page, eric ryback is a value investor..the kind i really respect..who do their homework ..they are the investors that i like to see..novell has been a poor performer yes..but she aint dead yet..goDr. schmidt go!!
