And you claim I'm the one who suffers from seeing things in "black or white."

If we're going to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, we might as well just open up our whole immigration policy. Otherwise, we're just going to coddle to those who essentially "cut in line," thereby screwing over those who are seeking to enter this country legally. And I know quite a few people who are trying to do just that.

Personally, I support vastly raising the limits on legal immigration, but we still need to get a handle on the whole process. Half-assed solutions like driver's licenses for illegals are merely there to pander to minority voters, and of course, there's also that minor matter of national security to consider.
