JDN,
Thanks for the advice, I am moving through that process presently.
Here is the connection between Premier and Westergaard:
Westergaard, according to Westergaard, is paid apparently $30,000 per year by Premier Laser Systems Inc., as a client and affiliate member of Westergaard's WIBN -- "Westergaard Internet Broadcasting Network".
For $30,000 an affiliate member according to Westergaard, (Premier in this case), apparently gets: Analyst coverage, (hmmm paid analyst coverage?), and I quote; "a comprehensive presentation of the company on the internet", and "control over their company persona, not allowing others to present misinformation about the member's company". Hmmmm,,, Paid puff?
Included in this $30,000 fee, according to Westergaard, the client gets the "sweep service" where posters providing "misinformation" on the company stock boards are identified and apparently "exposed".
$10,000 of the $30,000 fee goes towards ongoing advertising promoting the member company -- for example a 1/4 page add in the investor business daily promoting several of the Westergaard member affiliate companies.
Westergaards other services included "conferences" where companies pay $4,000, <member affiliates> and $8,000 ,<non-member affiliates>, to attend and I assume be displayed to investors. Hmmm,,, More paid promotions?
Westergaard's services appear to me to be nothing more than a big fat paid promotion for member companies, in a format that might suggest Westergaard is providing some sort of valuable analysis for investors. I prefer to consider quality objective analysis -- not paid promotion.
I like to hear differing opinions so that I have an idea of potential risks I may have missed. I certainly don't wont to hear just the good news, as over the years I have seen many investors taken to the cleaners by slick promoters.
I suggest nobody believe what I have posted, but check it out yourself. If you are interested call Westergaard Online at 212 947-3853, or visit the WIBN website and Identix's site, <a member affiliate> on the new WIBN at www.wbn.com. Click on "Cyberstations", then Identix.
John Westergaard -- I am sure you are out there reading this. You have done great damage to my business and my reputation by publishing true, damaging information about me on your Westergaard Online service. I do business on the internet raising venture capital and working with various large investors. Your untrue statements have cost me a great deal of money.
I plan to sue you and Premier Laser Systems Inc. who hired you. If this is just a promotional stunt for your new Westergaard Internet Broadcast Network" beware that it has cost me dearly in lost business and damage to my reputation. From here on out, consider me the proctologist and you the patient. I'll be looking at you and your business very closely.
John Westergaard, I wonder how present and future WIBN paying customers will look at you when they see that you caused the company you were promoting to be sued? And as a result of that suit, of bunch of the company's problems which were posted on the internet stockboards, such as laser failures, etc., are brought out in the public eye, big and bold, as a focus of a perhaps landmark internet lawsuit.
