the greenies scare me too, and cyanide is an easy "bad" sell to the masses. their propaganda sounds good, until I read the stuff put out by the mining industry (see below)

from what i've read, the people there are tired of environmentalists "ruining" the state. they used to have a natural resource based economy, but those times left with the arrival of the greenies.

the governor was the first person to sign a petition to overturn I37. they got support from every county, including the most rural ones, to overturn the stupid law. they have a $5 mil war chest and are going to spend it wisely. I can just see all the ads about job creation in the two months leading up to the election.

this is a huge investment for me, but I sleep well at night.
