Funny. You mentioned this scenario earlier. Funny that you posted the article I posted earlier in the day? No, I don't think getting dotty is funny, even when it's you displaying the affliction rather than me. <g> BTW, yesterday afternoon a friend who favors gun control emailed me the article. She, too, had no idea either that carrying openly without a permit was legal. She was really exercised over it. The article apparently caused quite a stir around the water cooler. Even though I'm not an advocate of gun control, I'm sure I'd be disconcerted to look out my window at all the people walking dogs and seeing some of them packing. This is a nice, quiet neighborhood and that would be too, too weird. I don't "feel" safer with guns on display than without them. How would you feel if some of the folks where you dance started sporting them? Or where you walk on the beach? Would you feel more or less comfortable?
