It's a sick community when people feel the need to "pack heat". It feels much safer to not need the weaponry. But there are times when it has been needed in NZ. It's not like the good old days here now. How to create a community which doesn't live in fear is something to pursue. Japan is peaceable and feels safe everywhere. Having everyone armed, with metal detectors in courts, schools and public buildings, with security everywhere, is a hell of a way to live. Mqurice
