Did you read (maybe you posted it) Garry Trudeau's recollection of what Bush was like at Yale? A preppy with a gift for making someone very uncomfortable, if he chose to do so.

I wonder how long it is going to take his beer-bellied redneck constituency to catch on to what they have voted for. I suppose he still looks cute and brave to several million old ladies. And then, everyone in the country with a net worth of a million and over is likely to vote for him. Plus a few million truly conscientious Americans who will support whatever seems most conservative, and about thirty million Baptists.
