The public doesn't want it.

It always helps to have data when one asserts "the public" this or that. We don't know whether they want this one or not. We do know a great many folk go without health insurance, that they need such, and evaluate candidates on that basis. How many, how well read, etc. Not knowable right now.

But if Krugman is right, it's certainly clear which plan does more to improve health insurance for the uninsured. Not even close.
