JF, the world is full of "nuance". It's not the attention to "nuance" that bothers me. In fact, I agree that the Bush administration could pay more attention to it. What really bothers me is the sense that Kerry uses "nuance" to cover his ass and avoid making the tough decisions. For example, this whole "federal vs. state" B.S. doesn't solve or even address the problem. It's a cop-out for inaction. Tenchusatsu
