We are not talking about a national religion. If he were to do that, it would be laughable. The issue is the separation of church and state.........Bush is attempting to dilute that separation. That's my complaint.

There is nothing in the constitution about the "separation of church and state". Congress is specifically restricted from declaring a national religion, but that is all.

The rest was created by judges; activist judges. I would argue that they have taken it far beyond the original intent of the restriction, as it is clear funding a church based AA program in no way violates the constitution, and merely talking about God too much violates absolutely nothing...not even the 'separation of church and state'.
