yikes, yeah that does indeed sound unmarketable. However there has to be more to this solid state tv trend than just video chips and monitors, right? Msft said they were working on some sort of video OS (I'm thinking a tivo like thing) and then we need the hardware to support it. I would hope that intel is investing heavily in this area. We haven't heard much from msft on their side, either. Capex is really in bad shape. Just look at what happened to enterprise software... choose your poison, the fact is enterprise software is dead completely- no startups, even. That has large ramifications for corp capex in the PC area and it will continue to dog intel. We need a new killer app for business, badly.
