Thanks, I have their web site. I also talked to someone who recently spoke with the company. According to him, to say that the company is confident of their product's abilities would be an enormous understatement. However the most interesting thing that came out of the conversation was a discussion about personnel needs. It seems clear to me that the demand for qualified Y2K programmers will soon far outstrip supply. According to Forecross, their "job shops" do not require sophisticated programmers, but rather people with skills on the level of word processing. If this is true, it would obviously give them a significant cost advantage. I'd be interested if anyone following this thread has any knowledge/insight on this. That was the good news that came out of the conversation. The not so good news was that the company refused to release any information on Gardner Solutions LLC who is their "franchisee" (my term, not the company's) in the New York, New Jersey area. This is obviously a critical market, and I find Forecross' continuing reluctance to provide any information on Gardner to be troubling.
