Allawi is a former Bathist bodyguard of Saddam, and therefore capable of it. But it's too neat, and I don't think he would be that stupid.

I just checked McGeough and his stories have all been "anti-war." His "witnesses" are nameless. Typical of the kind of attack I expect on this Iraqi Government from the left.
