My concern is different from yours as I understand your last post. The way our current health delivery system works is that one either needs health insurance provided in the workplace or to be entitled to such based on meager income. Access to doctors, hospitals, etc. depends on having it. Or demonstrating some independent means by which to pay for services.

If one lacks health insurance, access to health care is unacceptably difficult. I would prefer it move from the workplace to a simple item of citizenship. But it's simply not going to happen.
