well, I assume that it's HarrisDirect that's giving it away free and they are paying Realmoney one way or the other (eg order flow to theStreet.com trading arm)

full disclosure - I used to have an unfunded HarrisDirect account until they closed it after I hadn't put any money in for a couple of years...
