Has the 6-year Mercury contract been renewed? see: orbeng.com.au News 2 July 1998 MERCURY MAKES FURTHER COMMITMENT TO CLEAN 2-stroke TECHNOLOGY ASX Code: "OEC" NYSE Code: "OE" Saginaw, Michigan: Mercury Marine, the world's largest manufacturer of outboard engines, has signed a six year agreement with Orbital Engine Corporation for the supply of Orbital's direct injection fuel systems. Mercury, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brunswick Corporation is currently selling clean 2-stroke engines under the "Optimax" brand name on 225, 200, 150 and 135 horsepower models.
