Just more and more divisiveness.... I happened to listen this week to a man whose name escapes me..Nathan...somebody. He was the speech writer for Nixon and Carter. He talked about the period of the sixties ..which some of you who are posting here probably did not even know. ...He lauded Kerry for volunteering to go to Vietnam when he could have gotten out. He talked about his going back when he didn't have to and he mentioned the heroism he showed . These people who are putting him down now are denigrating an American hero. It is all coming about as rebuttal to keep the issue of whether Bush served in the National Guard at bay... It's like if you attack me I will attack you and my attack will be more vitriolic than yours.. This is what is at work. It's all politics... It's contrived and put out as propaganda to diffuse issues. Kerry was a good soldier and he is a patriot and to say differently is a disservice to a man who risked his life for this Country. Get over it.
