Bush denied black voters their right to vote in Florida by the thousands. If you think any blacks but a few conservatives will vote for Bush you're nuts. The democrats actually care about civil rights. The Republicans chose the closest racist scheme with their southern strategy and though it helepd them with southern white rightwingers it totally alienated them from any black. The black conservatives sound nutty. They are in deep denial. They don't even seem to care than Jeb Bush cut 57,700 largely black voters off the rolls in Florida in 2000.
