"One hand on the bible, the other on the gun?" I don't like it. Texas had a constitutional provision that said that preachers couldn't get elected to the legislature. Good law, IMO. If we start limiting legislative participation, I'd think that maybe it's lawyers who shouldn't be allowed to create laws. Seems like a more direct conflict of interest. <g>
