Congress already asserted its war powers - they went along with the scam of their own free will. Even the supposed opposition rubber-stamped a needless war based on lies just because the Prez scared everyone into a collectvie post-9/11 brain fart.

And the contention that making everyone unhappy instead of allowing the privileged to buy their way out of it (thus making fewer people unhappy) is one of the most delicious, contorted, fundamentally flawed and utterly stupid rationalizations I have ever heard from anyone inside the Beltway.

And that is saying a lot.
