I finally went to see F/11 tonight. When I bought my ticket, 40 minutes early, I asked the sales gal if she thought it would be crowded. She said "oh no, not at all". I went back to my car, finished my Gatorade, and went back in 25 minutes before showtime. I got a great seat ( I like that ), and sat 2 seats from a man and his family. I said howdy to them, as I always do that, and he told me he had already seen it, but wanted to bring his son with them this time.
So as the minutes rolled along there came a steady dribble of ticket buyers, eventually filling the theater to 97% or so of capacity. The sales gal was young, and wrong.
Well I can't add more than has already been said, but I sure can tell you it was moving, much less propagandist than I thought it would be, and a bit more draining of spirit until the fact that almost everyone applauded at the end. It DID leave me with the hope that those who see it will remember it election day. It left me hoping more Americans see it, in fact I hope it's shown free on TV before the election. Just got home... gonna pet my dog, and I'll see ya'll in a while.
