I don't believe in a "next world." You die, that's it.

The belief in an afterlife is a convenient excuse to waste this life. I will not waste this life.

This is a conveniently simple explanation, as well.

I'm not a religious person. But to dismiss the concept of an afterlife offhandedly is narrow-minded. There is a lot we do not know about the universe. If you require evidence, then your position is affirmed, as no such evidence is apparent.

However, it is important to keep in mind that there was no apparent evidence that time and space are closely related prior to Einstein's Relativity. Everyone believed time to be absolute. Suddenly, a genius discovers time as the fourth dimension, one that can bend and change.

It is certainly conceivable that there are fifth dimensions and beyond that relate specifically to our lives and souls.

Given the body of knowledge of the subject today, the only rational view is agnosticism. There appears to be little science to support either extreme.
