I also don't think it's been established that Wilson is, in your words, "a lying scumbag". He said that Niger officials denied that they were trying to sell uranium to Iraq. That is more likely true than not.

Now if you can get a Niger official who will say on record that they told Wilson that they were trying to sell uranium to Iraq, then you can call Wilson a "lying scumbag" all you please. Until then, it's just another dishonest republican smear.
