I just saw that conspiracy mentioned on the History Channel yesterday. They were doing a show about the Trilateral Commission, Bilderburgers, CFR, and that sort of thing. During the show they mentioned that George H.W. Bush was someone Reagan didn't want even in his cabinet, but was ironically selected during the 1980 Republican convention as Reagan's Vice Presidential running mate. Then, they went on to note that VP Bush (this guy who had all sorts of connections with the secret societies) was almost handed the Presidency with the ill-fated assassination attempt against Reagan shortly after Reagan assumed office. They didn't go into the Hinckley aspect of the conspiracy. But, they did insinuate that Bush had ulterior motives to take over as President, mainly his connections to the secret societies. That is interesting that Hinckley's father was a big Bush supporter. It was probably just a cooincidence though. After all, if Hinckley Sr. and a bunch of other Bush Sr. cronies wanted to see Bush assume the Presidency, why would they use someone so closely connected to one of themselves?!?
