It's not an obsession, Win.

When a report that suggests that neither Blair nor Bush lied about Niger is made public, it is natural that the loony "Bush lied, kids died" crowd will be disappointed, and that Bush's political fortunes will be raised. The NYT invariably minimizes such reports.

As for your suggestion that I not read the NYT because like all conservatives I am "obsessed" with it, all I can say is that if I gave it up I'd miss too many things I enjoy such as the recipes, the gay wedding announcements, the crossword, and the Sports section (which includes cars and chess, two of my interests.) The book reviews and the Travel section are also both often very good.

I get my weekly $5 worth of enjoyment out of it, though I think that the hard news and the op-ed sections should be grouped under the entertainment section.
