And I said that Italy and Greece, both NATO members, felt threatened. They may have felt "threatened" that they would have to deal with a lot of refugees. That isn't the same as being threatened with armed attack and it isn't enough to cause any US treaty obligation to intervene with armed force. Apparently, you're wrong. NATO went to war on that premise. ted
