<Islamic terrorists declared war on USA> .......... Get Osama bin Laden and beef up domestic security. This alleged "war on terrorism" took a farcical turn with the invasion of Iraq. The war in Iraq has been fought for all the wrong purposes. It was misguided from the start. The reasons for invading Iraq were weak prior to 9/11/01 and they were even weaker after that date. The bush administration misled the American public regarding Hussein's ties to al Qaeda, thus causing the alleged "war on terrorism" to be derailed. Keep in mind, Osama bin Laden was never captured. Is the domestic airline industry safer today than it was on 9/11/01? Frankly, I doubt it. /john
