Z, How so? If this life is all there is to live for, and no one is "keeping score" (a phrase I hesitate to use for reasons I won't go into), then many people will feel no incentive to keep a moral code, no responsibility to anything but their own feelings, and no deterrence against doing evil other than society's fallable rules. Not everyone can live like a Vulcan, you know. Which reminds me of the Cornell Society of Unbelief, where one of its members called himself "Vulcan." Must be an interesting guy to date ...
