Go to a store and try borrowing that way and then call it inadvertent. I didn't call it "inadvertent." Obviously he intended to remove the documents from the room. Borrowing is not inadvertent. If something sticks to your shoe and you take it home it's inadvertent. If you conceal it on your person, it's quite conspicuously advertent. Sure, he borrowed the documents. Sure sure sure. So, why do you suppose the might have "stolen" them? How might he have benefited from that? Surely the former National Security Advisor knew the appropriate way to get further access to the data. And how might that be?
