Leo,

Thanks again for your response.

I still have a few doubts about the competition situation.

The following is general info gained from quarterly reports, reports in the media, and info on SI threads. Some of these statements seem to be in conflict.

1. Lucent claims to be the largest CDMA supplier in the world.
2. LU buys its amp systems from MPDI.
3. MPDI only has a few million dollars in sales from each of its customers (the quarterly report does not give customer names, but we can assume that LU is among the largest).
4. PWAV and SPCT now have quarterly CDMA sales that would seem to far exceed MPDI's sales to its largest customer (LU?).

My question:
Judging from the above statements, it would seem that either LU no longer has anywhere near the majority of the CDMA equipment market, or that LU has sources for its amps other than MPDI (perhaps internal sources?).

I hope you can help me clear this up.

Best regards,

THC
