That is very disingenuous of Michael to say that. He knows very well that Sunw is fighting what in war would be an orderly retreat. He must allow the gradual transition of Sun to a software company. He must allow time to transition out of the hardware business. But he also knows that unless he makes statements like this, his existing clients will catch him in the lie, and abandon sun altogher. Now that the AntiTrust case has been affirmed on appeal, MS will begin tightening the screws, making java just slightly incompatable.
